Fantastic Food, eat as much as you like! Nice selection of grilled meat, side orders and a market table of cheese, fish, sauces and bread. Friendly service from the staff who we’re always on hand to help. A little pricey but it’s in the heart of Manchester. Great atmosphere and provided us with a free birthday chocolate cake!

Me and my partner went for her birthday meal and overall the experience was delightful. The service was warm and welcoming. We were proper looked after and staffs were always available to help with a big smile in their face and with such energy and passion which was amazing to see. I believe the staff who mainly attended to us from sitting us down, explaining how the service works, always looked out for our dietry requirement and would point out any dishes that are not halal so we can avoid (it was nice to see he remembered and would ensure this was a priority), to taking our bill is called Richard Our diety requirement meant that we can only have halal food and he would advise us which sides and sauce we should avoid. Only regret was that we got full too quickly so we could not eat as much as we would have liked and try all the dishes. Maybe next time. But overall the food tasted good, the sides were delicious and the salad bar has many options Also, when booking our reservation, we were asked about our dietary requirements to which I said halal and upon walking through the door, they confirmed it with me again which made me feel at ease to know they have got it noted and turns out all the staffs that were serving the food knew we are only eating halal dishes and would only bring us halal dishes, which shows they really are very organised and professionals. Also when booking, I was asked if there is any special occasion, to which I responded it was for a birthday and they noted it down. Once I asked for the bill, Richard went to the back and got a slice of cake (which was delicious by the way) with a candle lit up on it for my partners birthday. I was certainly not expecting that which was so kind of you to do and it really did make my partners night. Then when the bill was served to us, Richard explained the bill to us, he explained there is a small optional charge added for charity and also 10% optional service charge. Which again shows outstanding service. Upon paying the bill, I asked Richard if its okay for us to pay without the service charge. My decision to not pay service charge had nothing to do with the restaurant, rather it was because my bill was already pretty steep. Just before asking, I was a bit nervous and uncomfortable because I've found at times staffs at restaurants in general take offence when you ask them to remove service charge, at times become a bit hostile and ask why. However, when I asked Richard, he just smiled and said no problem and removed it, there was no hostility or negativity towards it which made me feel comfortable so I really do respect him for that for not making me feel bad or guilty about it. Overall, the experience was amazing and the look of the restaurant really is very beautiful and elegant. Perfect for a special occasion. I can see why this place has a huge reputation and a glowing rating and reviews online Dietary restrictions: They have a whole lot of halal dishes so if you are Muslim, that is certainly not going to be an issue
