Charming Hall Hotel & Spa not far from Northampton. Set in beautiful grounds with lots of history Fawsley is a lovely place to just relax, enjoy the spa, go for a long walk and then settle into the bar and restaurant later. At weekends its a bit busier with locals enjoying afternoon tea in the Hall but overall the staff were friendly and helpful (expect to see the same faces at breakfast, lunch and dinner). I couldn’t imagine doing much more than a couple of nights due to the limited dinner menu however. Recommended.
