This one is like Mercury. He will slip through every crack once he holds your deposit. Does not answer back to CCJ with the hope that claimants will desist and he walks away with your money. Any trades person who has such disregard for the law should be dealt with severely once the law gets their hands on him. The law will not class these people as criminals, which is why they have no fear of the courts. People who have had the same similar problems with this man should try and get together and persist through the courts.

Michel is very talented but it is very clear from reviews that he can not be trusted. He was given a deposit of £600 to fit my shelves. I have waited a year for the shelves to be fitted. It seems from other reviews that he has a habit of taking people’s deposits and running off. It’s a shame that someone with such a gifted talent lends himself to stealing deposits and people’s trust. I’m Now going through the small claims court with the hope of getting my deposit back. This mans reviews are alarming when one considers the consistency of running of with peoples deposits.

Carry out an internet search on this individual’s name and trading name, and you’ll find an array of dissatisfied customers. Common theme is he takes a deposit and runs. He'll also quote cheap to obtain your deposit. I too fell into this trap but am pursuing via a CCJ, I suggest others do the same to ensure he doesn't trade again in the UK. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid like the plague. We decided to give Michelle two jobs just before Christmas 2015, he seemed quite professional to us and assured us that most of the work would be done at his workshop. This was quite important to us as I was 8 months pregnant with my third at the time and the work was going to take place over the Christmas holidays. He started with a unit for the kitchen and somehow he managed to take all the measures wrong, and when say all I mean length, height and depth. Length and height could be amended (at a price increase) but not the width so the unit is not flushed to and existing column. It took over 3 weeks to complete the job and it was mainly done on site (i.e our kitchen) until late evenings, so very inconvenient when you have small children around. On Christmas eve he managed to drill through an electric cable and left us without electricity until 9 in the evening. The second job was for a new fitted wardrobe in our bedroom and to replace the doors and drawers fronts of an existing wardrobe. This time Michel drilled the knobs for 2 drawers in the wrong place and were not aligned with the other drawers so we asked him to fix them (after paying him promptly as he requested). After a few weeks chasing him he came and took the drawers to fix them in his workshop and it took him 9 months to bring them back. By then we had told them we didn't care if he has fixed them or not, we just want the drawers back as he took the knobs with him and we cannot buy new ones to match the existing ones. Definitively not the “professional” he claims he is but rather one of those "cowboy" traders...

Michel I am repeatedly chasing you. You took a substantial deposit for a bespoke kitchen and left us in the dark for months. You ignored every contact by text, whatsap, voicemail. Is this what we expect from someone who has 13 years experience?
