This place shames Lebanese cuisine. The food was bland, it wasn’t fresh at all, and the بطاطا حرة was microwaved! The waiter (or manager?) had no knowledge of what he was talking about, or he just didn’t care. Every time we’d ask him a question about what’s inside certain sandwiches he’d say ‘it’s just a regular sandwich, made the regular way’. I was very disappointed in the food and service. It’s also pretty expensive for what it is. Would not recommend.

I went into this place by mistake - I was looking for a restaurant that I had been in before and had the best Lebanese food in - I mistakenly walked into this one. I had a couple of friends visiting from abroad and I said it would be great. The first inkling I got that this was not the place I’d been to before was the surly waiter. The food was not good. The service was awful. I am never going back to this place - mistakenly or otherwise.

Tasty food but deceptive practices. I came with my family of 4 to this restaurant after a long day. I wanted to order sharwarma’s as an affordable meal. The menu offered by the server showed specials and I was debating to order the special of the day or shawarma’s. That’s when the server offered to bring a sharing plate for our family since we couldn’t decide. Next thing we knew our table is filled with items hummus, bite sized appetizers salad etc. I have to say it was tasty and filling however what next came was multiple plates of meat which I didn’t want and a huge massive bill which was nothing compared to the shawarmas or specials I intended to get. Bill was as follows: Mezza’s- 20€ per plate - was charged for 2. Nothing on the menu showed this. Shawarma plates 16€ X2 one for chicken one for beef. If I had bought the sandwhiches it would have been less that 10€. Then the specials which were only 10€ were charged at 16€. I asked for tap water - I was charged 4€ for bottled water. I want to complain the food was bad but it wasn’t. I would have happily paid and recommended this place if it had more honourable business tactics but I felt this was deceptive. I did not argue but paid for the meal as I don’t like to cause a scene. Like I said food was great- favourite was lamb leg. Mezza’s also tasty. My bill for 4 people was 119€. This restaurant is a tiny little mom and pop take out spot - not a 5 star restaurant so that bill was outrageous. Next time I suggest if someone is to go. Take photo of menu and be clear to order exactly what is on the menu and double check the menu. Sadly staff was friendly and this is probably why I was caught off guard- they were chatty and friendly and brought out the food acting like family. I wish I could recommend it to someone but sadly I won’t. Too bad.

I don't know why because he is displaced from a town and two Gulfs blessed with security and safety. Started well....friendly staff offered to "advise" on the menu as my friend had never tried Lebanese food before. Mixed cold mixed mezze was suggested, along with some chicken cubes and rice, and tap water to drink at our request. Great range of offerings. It was my friend's birthday and we were enjoying a quiet celebration after a difficult year (bereavements etc). The staff brought over cake and milk pudding as a surprise and sang Happy Birthday, which we thought was lovely. We were then offered mint tea, which, in every other similar restaurant is generally given free. It was so lovely I was quite happy to pay. However, my friend went to pay, and was told verbally £49 for the bill. This seemed a lot-but hey, it was a special day. When we got home, I asked to see the bill. There wasnt one-no itemised bill at all, just a card receipt for £94!!!!! Whaaaat???? That has just spoiled what should have been a happy occasion- being blatanly ripped off does NOT feel good. Yet my friend is blaiming herself.
