I was very very disappointed with my visit, I have been before and it was really good which is why I chose to take my girlfriend for her birthday. And from the moment we walked in we didn’t feel welcomed, the main reason for my 1 star was the staff, the food was nice. But the way we were treated was unacceptable. When we asked for extra gravy or mint sauce there was hesitation from the staff, which they said they would bring over but we never received it. My girlfriends roast was dry from a lack of gravy. Which led her to having a disappointing meal, the staff never asked us how our meal was or asked if we wanted to see a desert menu. I also spoke to a staff member a few weeks prior about having something bought out for my girlfriends birthday which didn’t happen. I felt like we were trying to be rushed out, the staff seem to be very attentive with everyone else except us.

The best Sunday roast we have had for a long time. We have visited this restaurant on numerous occasions for evening meals, it’s definitely one of our favourites. This was our first lunch and we all loved our meal, taking friends here is always a winner. Not only is the food amazing, staff are all really Friendly, helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Absolutely wonderful- every single time. We celebrate all our important occasions with dinner at Farmer, Butcher, Chef and often pop in for lunch after a walk around the local area. We can guarantee that the food, service and setting will always be exceptional. Looking forward to eating here this weekend for our wedding anniversary.
