As we are sat looking back over our photos from our wedding in May 2022 we continue to be blown away by how perfectly Charlie captured our incredible day at Wellington Wood. We found Charlie online and just loved how her style is so natural and captures weddings in action as the day unfolds, as opposed to more staged photos. This really came true as whenever we look at the album every photo takes us right back to the day <3. We set up a video call to have an initial chat and knew from that moment we wanted Charlie to be our wedding photographer. She is just the most wonderful person with fantastic energy and we felt right away that we would feel comfortable having her around on our special day, and we were so right. Charlie slotted in amongst our friends and family and we had so many comments on how great she was and seemed to be everywhere capturing every moment, but also completely unimposing. The album was everything we hoped for and more, we have hundreds of perfect images and we love every single one. Thank you so much Charlie for capturing our day so beautifully.

In summary - if I could give Charlie 6 stars, I would. We ended up working with her last minute after our original wedding photographer decided to ‘retire’ a month before our wedding… I was already a tad on edge but every interaction with her was very reassuring, helpful, professional etc. There’s two main reasons I would book Charlie. Firstly, she is just super lovely to have around - and I know all our guests felt super at ease with her. Secondly, her photos are beautiful! She will capture your beautiful day with real heart.

We first learned about Farlie Photography when Charlie photographed our friends wedding and we were blown away by their photos. Charlie was absolutely amazing from the moment we contacted her. She gave us great advice for our big day, made great recommendations for other suppliers and was on hand throughout every stage of the planning. We did a pre shoot/engagement shoot on the beach on a beautiful late summers evening which put us both at ease and gave us a chance to get to know Charlie before she shot our wedding. Charlie arrived first thing on the morning to capture us getting ready and stayed with us until there were literally no more photos left to take. Charlie was more than a photographer on the day and I don’t know what we would have done without her. She ensured each bridesmaid and groomsman in the wedding party were ready on time and managed to keep me (the bride) very calm throughout. In the days following the wedding Charlie sent us beautiful sneak peaks and a couple of weeks after we received our online wedding album along with a beautiful USB containing both the engagement shoot and wedding day photos. Charlie also offers a beautiful wedding album service which we cannot wait to put together with our stunning photos. We highly recommend Farlie Photography to any couple looking for natural photos from a very professional, highly skilled, AMAZING photographer. You will not be disappointed!!

Charlie was amazing (as I knew she would be!) - she managed to capture the atmosphere perfectly with just the perfect balance of both posed and informal photos. I honestly don't know how she managed to be in so many places at once!! We were hardly aware that she was there for a large proportion of the time but she managed to gather ourselves and our guests together to ensure we had some beautiful memories to treasure. Charlie was our wedding photographer in July 2022 and I would recommend her to anyone. So many of our guests commented on how fantastic she was and how above and beyond she went. From helping groomsmen sort buttonholes, organising photos to fixing my dress when flies attacked! We have the most beautiful and natural photos that we love to look through, of family together and individuals reacting to the day. My husband and I are not good with posing or photos but Charlie was just brilliant at sorting us out without taking us away from our special day. Our favourite moment was our evening shoot with Charlie having time away to reflect and watch the sunset. (And she got stunning photos of it!) Can't thank you enough Charlie.
