Not the best service I have received and getting frustrated now. Fully appreciate how busy the team are trying to deal with Births deaths and marriages but not being able to speak to them potentially could delay a funeral or booking of a wedding on a desired date which would be disappointing. I have had lots of email communication with them in recent weeks most of which to do with dates and this has been fine. even though sometimes it can take a couple of days for them to respond. Phone contact however is shocking an d proving to be impossible. Having most of the information from them in email they advised I call them which I have been doing for daisy which queues for 2 you have reached ..... then message to say they are busy but they will call back on a convenient number - it doesn't happen. Having called today again I checked the website that i had the right number and it came up with a random number to call which I did - straight to message to say you have dialled an incorrect number so went back to the number they have advised several times on their emails to be cut off as with previous calls.In limbo now having to try through out the whole day. It doesn't help their opening times as they are open and closed during what would be normal office hours & the team i know i small. It might pay to shuffle the hours so they are later or stagger staff to shift so people have the chance to try when they get home from work - but they would need more staff I suspect. Reading the reviews sounds like I am not the only one in Limbo

Appauling service, Won't answer phones, don't return email messages. I am getting married there in a few weeks and have never been able to view the place so no idea what it even looks like! When I called Havant they said that Fareham are working from home and taking calls from no one. Who on earth is responsible for this shambles?

Been here for two weddings, both of which were handled very professionally. The mother daughter team were exceptional and funny. A real class act, made both days very enjoyable. Couldn't recommend a better place to get married.

Useless. Received a call to cancel an appointment, 3 hours before the appointment. Appointment had been booked for a week already, only to be told on the day that we were supposed to register at another office, after booking the time off work. Granted the appointment isn't urgent, however still inconvenient and how they couldn't have told us a week ago we needed to go somewhere else?

Disgusted! We re-registered our babies birth after marriage and were told it will be £4 but as they don't take cash or card someone would call us to take payment over the phone - they didn't bother so we obtained their number and phoned them and were charged £10 because 4 weeks had elapsed after waiting for them to do as promised. Why were we not told the we'd be charged £10 after that time and why we're we told someone would call us and then keep us waiting for nothing? A big con deceiving and out to cost people extra money with their poor service. Called to query the price and we're told we should have been informed at the time, well we weren't so got charged for that staff error!
