A gem in the boondocks. Narrow twisty road leads to the entrance where you pay to squeeze through the gap between two buildings and park. Nice walk through the woods to the gardens which are in several styles. A beautiful quiet place where you can sit and listen to the wildlife. Dog friendly too, our pointer was transfixed by something (mouse?) rustling in the flowerbed.

A nice place for walking, stunning view. The only let down for me was there was no mobile service at all. This can be good if you just want to spend some quality time on your own or with your family. It has some good picnic spot as well. Overall, great. The entry fee is £8 per person as of Sunday the 4th of June 2023 while parking is free.

Such a lovely caming place. Sadly not suitable for wheelchair users but some mobility aids would cope. The woods have cleared paths and bridges in multiple routes and a lovely waterfall. Plus the house gardens are rich with plants for every month meaning you see different varieties throughout the year. The cafe is great quality but slow.
