They have a lot of knowledge and experience and it always astounds me that they are able to resolve any training issues I’ve had! More importantly for me, they make training fun. They show you how rewarding it can be when training goes right. The tight bond I have with my dog is as a result of training with FDS from the puppy foundation course right to the working gundog level. I must also mention, that my dog has a soft spot for John - she is not the only one though. All the dogs seem to love Claire and John which says alot.     I first engaged with FDS when we decided to get a puppy. I'd have a couple of dogs growing up but I had never been the owner so thought it wise to seek some advice. We had an initial consultation where Claire came to our house. It was a great opportunity for her to see us and our new puppy in the setting where the puppy would grow up. Following on from that we have been along to puppy classes, which were the main objective. But like children and sport, these classes became the height of fun for our dog. We then progressed to beginners gundog classes, into novice and we are now at intermediate level with advanced next on the cards. John and Claire are fantastic and truly supportive. Our dog is of course part of the family and he has his hobbies just like the rest of us.
