I have been with a practice now 4 years and just very recently, I’d say in last 2 months the service went down terribly. The main issue is that they are now always running late with the appointments, and therefore people have to wait even though they came on time. Before they used to refuse people if someone was late - my mom was refused for being 6 minutes late because she walks slow because of her leg pains and she was late to her leg consultation. She had to come back another time for being late 6 minutes. Doctors now run over 30min late, some people waiting 50min after their assigned appointment time. When asked to be rebooked to come on another day because I have work and I excused myself from work to come to see a doctor - you are refused and told to just call the next day. However their phone lines hardly work. So then you try to rebook on the app - which is great - but end up wasting NHS money and an already busy doctor’s time to get an appointment that was already assigned to you by another doctor the day before. When asked why do they choose to waste NHS money and not just rebook people to a different day because the practice is late and not the patient you are told just outright “no” and that they are doing their job. When asked to speak to a manager, who makes the decision to not rebook you you are told “no” as well as they can only give you an email and you cannot speak to the manager who is sitting behind the reception desk. The manager on this day was assistant manager Michaela. Embarrassing to be so scared to face your own patients and admit that you prefer to waste NHS resources and money by having people to rebook via app which requires a doctor to do a 15min consultation which was already done by another doctor before. Absolutely broken system. The practice is starting to fall apart and it used to be so great.

Shame I couldn't click -0 star rating! Absolutely disgusted the service my mum received today! She has been going to this doctors for 58 years and was treated appallingly! She phoned in advance to see if it was possible to have a form signed and who ever was on the phone said "yes! No appointment needed" We arrived spoke to a receptionist and she said I need to ask my manager. She walked off with the letter showed her manager come back and said 'sorry she said no. You need to sign it infront of us" showed bank card as proof off signature. The receptionist went back again to the manager , she said no. This happened back an forth a number of times. The "manager" did not even have the decency to come out herself and speak to us but getting the receptionist to her dirty work for her! Very poor leadership!!!

Any time I need an appointment they tell me to call at 8AM but, after than that NO ANSWER, then they say use Dr IQ App to make it easier, I spend 15 minutes filling all their fields, and after a bit they "processed" my request saying "we tried to contact you but no answer, please call us for an appointment" which it was a lie, nobody called me. I ended up calling back again and now they say "you need to call back tomorrow again" even though it was their mistake not answering and also lying that I was "contacted", worst service ever, I will need to go in person to the place to get an appointment, 2023 people, terrible service

Great service. I called at 8am, had an appointment at 10:15am, now it’s 11am and I am going home delighted with the service. The doctor Roger is a superstar!

Was a decent practice when I first registered (only moved because Borough Medical Centre closed). Now it’s nigh on impossible to get an appointment. They communicate through the Dr iQ app but don’t seem to know how it works for patients. They palm you off with a response of “go to XYZ” and that either doesn’t exist at all or doesn’t allow you to do what they’re asking of you. They also sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy. It took several phone calls over 2 days and me physically waiting in the pharmacy for the physician to sent to the right pharmacy.

The service is horrible! To get an appointment you need to call at 8am or go IN PERSON to tell you that all appointments are fully booked on that date. This is really a waste of time and Falmouth surgery should make sure to have a digital appointment service as any other decent GPs. We are living in 21 century and this is really out-dated. I don’t know how they operate. The stuff and doctors are nice and polite but this appointment approach should change as soon as possible.

Good customer service. They do respect appointment times. I wish it was easier to get an appointment to see a GP. You can never plan your appointment and they only give you appointments for the day as long as you are lucky enough to get one by calling at 8AM.

Elly has been so helpful in co-ordinating appointments at the best times, helping me find what support I needed elsewhere where required. Highly recommend the surgery and thank you Elly.

I already reviewed this with one start. If was possibiele I would give -5! I am 9 months pregnant. In the last 3 months I have been in touch with the GP to order medications that have been prescribed to me by the doctor at the hospital. All the three times, 1) it took ages for have them taking the request (first you have to fo through the app, then you have to call, then they ask you to send an email!) 2) all the three times the medication was sent to the pharmacy and NO ONE cared to let me know - even if they say "we will email you/call you". This last time has been 2 weeks I was waiting for something I needed, and they simply didn't care. I had to chase them up and they just said "uh, is at the pharmacy already". This is NOT wat a GP surgery should be like, and I believe someone should go and check on them, because is NOT OK to treat people like this.
