More of a nightmare! This shop has an awful reputation. Obviously these reviews have been written by knowns. Checkout hitched. We had an absolutely hellish experience whilst purchasing a wedding dress last year. We were charged twice the price of the actual dress on alterations. It broke my brides heart! I have seen many reviews after having this terrible experience and apparently it s a ploy. They order the dress too big so they will have to make all sorts of alterations. There are many wonderful bridal boutiques dont let this woman ruin your happiness.

I honestly judged the shop by the website and didn't have major expectations of this place. I was very much proven wrong and for a small shop, there was lots of choices to be had, and it was a great experience out of three bridal shops l have been to. Our assistant for the appointment was Elie who was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about what looked good. Left the shop with a completely different dress to what l thought l wanted and honestly can't wait to wear it on my wedding. Elie was so good at suggesting things l might like and each dress was better than the last one. The next dress was always laid out in the dressing room before l went in and there was no rush to choose something. I encourage you to be open minded and try some suggestions that you won't usually go for as you will be pleasently surprised. Anyway, top service and would recommend that you plan a visit if you need a wedding dress or related items.

I purchased my wedding dress here and received a good service overall. Ultimately, on my wedding day, I wore my dream dress, which received many compliments and made me feel like a million dollars. The team at Fairytale was flexible with appointments and made every change to the dress I wished for, to ensure I felt my best on the day. I also received a voucher towards having the dress cleaned after the wedding, which was done within a week after the event and to my full satisfaction. The one thing I would recommend in hindsight is to ask very clearly for the timeline and process of fittings and making changes before the big day, as well as what changes are included in which price package to avoid surprises and unnecessary stress.

I cannot recommend Fairytale London enough. After an absolute nightmare situation at another shop, Elie from Fairytale saved the day quite literally! Elie was so accommodating and made me feel right at home. Incredibly helpful with suggestions and pulled some beautiful gowns that I would've never thought to try. I cannot fault the customer service we received.
