    Staff friendly, fair choice of beers/ wines, food excellent.....very tasty, well presented and good portions. Lots of TV screens for sports events. Can get very busy, good atmosphere, indoor/ outdoor dining. Highly recommended.

    Very disappointed with the place. Only one person at the bar so long queue to be served. When it was our turn we wanted to order food but we’re told that ‘we are too busy and not serving food’. I looked stout and the pub isn’t even half full so I don’t know what they were busy with. Apparently this is a common occurrence at this place. How can you say you serve food but then don’t?! Tables not cleaned, empty glasses left so if you wanted to sit down you have to clean it yourself. Tables sticky as hell. Toilets awful and dirty!!

    Came here Sunday 16/04/23 surprise meal for my granddaughters 21st We all enjoyed food.2 had the curry said was very nice. My younger grandaughter had kiddie meal but ended up sharing her sister’s &cousins curry she wants that next, My daughter had the Gammon which she enjoyed (but would like it cooked a little longer) Grandaughers other half had vegetarian chilli said was ok , I had the steak&ale pie beautiful cooked to perfection loads of filling and not a. Bit of grizzle really enjoyed it . All puddings were yummy, did not have to wait long after we orders food service was good All food arrived on table piping hot .All staff were very nice and helpful would recommend 😊 We will be returning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
