Update April 2023 Beach is now more accessible with less rocks and more space on the stones only just arrived for low tide and there seems to be a nice stretch of sand just past a band of rocks. A bit of a walk from either the car park at the top of the hill or from Hastings but definitely worth it. Beautiful scenery on the walk and at the beach. Clothing is optional.

Had a cracking time down at fair light- I tel you now, I’ve never had so many choppas fly by my face will making sandcastles. BRILLIANT place to bring the family for a day out - both my kids cried quite abit when big Dave took his towel off though 😝 over all great place would recommend x

Went on a Tuesday, not many people about, it was very relaxing, secluded, and the hiking trails along the ridge are cool too. Very rocky, careful where you step. In and out of the water.
