The staff working there like they are in the playground, joking, playing around in front of customers not respecting customers!!! i was in a queue and there was an old man in front of me, the staff treated him like a 2 years old !! took a global priority parcel there to drop off and the staff not bothering to scan the barcode or double check if they really don't provide the drop off service , the staff just said they don't take global priority parcel?????? Then the staff asked me to take it to the main branch but apparently they DO provide drop off service on the list! i took my parcel to another corner shop in Bridgemary where is a smaller scale post office than this one!!! the staff there are nice and helpful!!! Can staff at the shop provide post office service selectively?

Lovely little post office, have been using it for years. Yes, it's a limited a bit as it's only a small franchise. Queues are short, staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

I have been using this post office on a regular basis for the last four years. Today, a Saturday, I needed to check what time the post office closed. As I did so I was amazed to see a relatively low marking for the post office. I have always found the staff unfailingly polite and unfailingly helpful. It is a very small post office which unavoidably means that it cannot offer the full range of services that would be found in a main post office. Equally, with only one serving position, at busy times there can be a bit of a wait. However, there is plenty of free parking immediately adjacent to this post office. Moreover, the only alternative would be to drive into the centre of Fareham, park (and pay for it) and use the main post office which is upstairs in the WH Smiths shop. This main post office's opening hours are nowhere near as user-friendly as those of Fairfield Avenue Post Office. I completely stand by my five out of five rating.
