We visited today for my wife's birthday and had afternoon tea and the kids had their choice of lunch. The food was very nice and the cake were exceptional. There was a mistake made with our order but I was very impressed by the "no problem let me fix it" way in which Ellie deal with the issue. A credit to the team and to customer service staff in general.

Came across this place by chance when another cafe was closed So glad we did I'm a foodie and love cooking so am not the easiest to impress. I had a really fabulous breakfast Sour dough. Avocado feta poached eggs pink yogurt [ think was beetroot infused maybe ] watercress . Such a taste sensation will definitely be back . Great service and coffee too .

Such a shame this place is clearly pot luck for service. Came yesterday (Saturday) and had great service from the guy outside, he was really attentive and the food was great. Arrived today (Sunday) to no one outside at all, having to find our own tables and ask for menus, then having to come inside again to order when there’s about 6 ladies all stood inside having a chat. We ordered two sandwiches at the same time which arrived at separate times and the “gluten free” option was an embarrassment. Don’t offer gluten free options for the same price if the portion size is fit for toddlers.

As someone who is gluten intolerant I was happy to see a GF 'Artisan Sandwich' on the menu. What I got however was two tiny pieces of unbuttered, shop brought dry bread still cold from the fridge. Whilst the other people on my table got absolutely delicious non-gf sandwiches. Please don't bother offering GF in the future if you are not going to put any effort in at all. Paying £7.50 for chicken in between 2 beer mat sized slices of cold, dry bread is an insult.
