I went today to notify them that we would like to pick up our loved ones ashes the following day ...at 9.45 the door to reception was locked so I rattled the handle a few times then stood on the pavement wondering what to do ...eventually a man came and unlocked the door and said can I help you and I said I was there with regards to my loved ones ashes ...i was told to come in and sit down ....he then vanished ...i waited and waited so decided to go to another appointment I had ....on return the door was still locked and again I rattled the handle and when the same man opened the door he said...oh your back ...and was quite belligerent with me for leaving ....i tried to explain why I had popped in and it got very frustrating ....he said I can't take the ashes ...i didn't want them today I tried to say ...then started talking about our deceased family member and the jumper he had been wearing and how he drove busses in the past ....i didn't feel any respect you would associate with a funeral home .....having worked front of house for big companies for a good number of years i would never have spoken to someone in that manner ....needless to say I was close to tears leaving that place

I really must say a massive thank you to everyone at F M & J Wait for there ultimate professionalism, at a very difficult time after the loss of my Mother. From day 1 they were caring thoughtful and provided my mother with the utmost dignity. I cannot praise everyone highly enough. The funeral itself was timed to perfection and the ceremony itself was very touching, as a large photograph was displayed of my Mother which was unexpected but so very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend F M & J Wait .. And once again... Thank you.

Everyone at Waits was so compassionate and patient. They explained every step clearly and there was no hard sell or any pressure put on at all. They were very professional yet really sympathetic and the arrangements were made so much easier and less stressful because they were so understanding and also very kind. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt valued and cared for. They provided some lovely spare photographs, a charity box and a memory box I wasn’t expecting. Mark and Wendi made the whole process feel very personal. I am very grateful.

My mums funeral was today and everything was perfect. In such strange times, the staff made everything seem ok and were professional, understanding and caring. They also looked after my dads funeral which was 3 and half years ago, which was also perfect. They looked after my precious mum so well,paying attention to all the details I asked for and also very kindly went out of the way so our friends and family could find the car park to the venue. Special thanks to the lovely Linda and Wendi who are both so warm and caring. You made such a sad time in very strange times, so lovely and so special. Many thanks to all the staff involved on the day of mums funeral, you were all very professional and kind. I highly recommend Dignity. Many, many thanks.
