Great food with a very unique dining experience. They serve a single set menu (with a vegetarian version available)and each course was delicious. I liked the music (Queens of the Stone Age and Def Leppard were playing while we were there) and the decor was more like a night club than a fine dining restaurant. They were able to accommodate us at the bar without a reservation on a Friday for an early dinner which was appreciated!

I cancelled my table due to a cold but was charged £40 for cancelling 23.5 hours in advance instead of 26 hours (which is apparently in the small print). I couldn’t rebook as the table had been taken by the time I was charged - they say this charge was non-refundable in the interest of “fairness to others”. I understand the loss restaurants face from people not showing up, and charging me on a rigid technicality despite re-booking the table may be within their right - but it doesn’t feel like great customer service from a high-end restaurant.

Heavy stodgy mishmashes food. Much like the seating arrangement it was cramped and thoroughly overpriced for what seemed like some students on the down and out made the meal. Genuinely the menu I had in this place was awful. It all tasted fresh. The wine was lovely. But the food was a mishmash of something you would pick up in the reduced isle. Genuinely think for three people at £255 it was a rip off, you could get a proper Michelin star lunch in the north compared to whatever this was. They served a Milanese with a kg of some sort of soy sauce noodles on top with a load of chilli and coriander. 1 star because the food was fresh and the tiramisu was nice. This doesn’t come close to what they’ve charging for. It was genuinely one of the worst meals I’ve had in recent times. I don’t think I’ll be back. Was gutted as well, as was hoping it would be nice. Seriously cramped in there as well. Disappointed

Have been wanting to go to this place for so long! Although it started with a bémol by us having to wait outside beyond our reservation time, the staff quickly made the situation better by saying sorry many times and offering them free drinks. Going inside, we realised quickly that it is not a conventional place. The seating and table set is different and kind of “boho-chic”. There was very loud metal music playing which was bothering us at the beginning but soon after it stopped everything was better. The food was the big shock though. It is a fixed menu, that has a vegetarian option. All dishes were very interesting but what definitely stood out was 3 dishes. First the squid ink flatbread is definitely worth trying with beautiful bread and great “tarama”. Secondly the smoked chicken over rice was my favorite dish. Finally, the deep fried apple pie was out of this world. The extra lamb flatbread was interesting but not something I would re-order. Conclusion, this is a great address with an interesting take on Middle Eastern cuisine, working with ingredients that you wouldn’t find there. Definitely go there on an empty stomach because.
