Lovely mock Victorian look about the shop interior itself very inviting . The pies and mash on offer with liquor was very tasty along with a quality cup of tea . I will certainly go back I just hope the shop gets enough custom because it deserves to succeed but isn’t in the main drag in Chelmsford . The food is better than it’s also we’ll known competitor which benefits the high street location

Dry pies with very chewy meat inside and flavourless liquor, This is coming from an Eastender too! Robins over the road is much nicer.

Had pie mash here earlier, was vile the mince meat was congealed and disgusting. No flavor and the liquor was watery and too much oil in the pies, the pies were soggy and underdone, will not be retuning.
