Bought 1 pork pie and 1 pork and apple. Both tasted like they had been sat there a few days. Stale pastry. Don't go here if you like fresh food.

Been having stanforth pork pies for years and always made a special trip from Garstang asked for 4 hot pork pies but they were just warm and tasted awful And the pastry was very thick. I also bought 2 custard pies the pastry was so thick we throw them away.

Absolutely fantastic cuts of meat, I have bought pork joints so tender they literally fall apart when cooked, the steaks we had tonight we're the best I have ever had, no seasoning required and you could have cut them with a spoon! Friendly staff and great service.

The Growlers (Pork Pies) are possibly the best pork pies in the world. Ask for warm ones they are to die for. The meat in the butchers is second to non, and the staff are really friendly. Right by the canal this butcher has a history and not much has changed in the years since it opened. The pork pies are £1.50 each but be worth it. You must try this place.

Best Cornish pasty I've ever had. Lovely, flakey pastry, soft on the inside and filled with perfectly cooked veg and tasty mince gravy. Lush. Will definitely return when we're next in Skipton.

Went there after a run near by and have to say this is the best/first small pork pie I have ever had. The filling is peppery and the crust was tasty. Really made our trip to Skipton extra memorable!
