After choosing a new pair of frames, with great assistance, my new glasses arrived even quicker than expected. My experience with Eye Room is the first time I've enjoyed the often stressful activity of eye exams / frame shopping from beginning to end & Leeds is very lucky to have such a high quality, independent opticians as an alternative to the big names.

    After several years of okay service and okay glasses from one of the well-known high street brands, I wanted more bespoke service and some stylish glasses that would be a pleasure to wear, rather than a duty. The Eye Room totally delivered. Tomas took a lot of care to ask me what I needed to use my glasses for and tailor his recommendations. Sarah was incredibly patient and subtle with steering me away from the frames that didn't suit me. Delighted with my new glasses and have already had compliments on them. Highly recommended and worth the money.

    I can't recommend this place strongly enough. Yes the range and style of glasses they stock is great, and yes every staff member I've encountered here has been knowledgeable, but that's not it. Above and beyond that I've had a high quality, human experience with everyone I've met who works here and they've cultivated a really relaxed environment. They all take the time to help you as an individual; when choosing frames they give thoughtful feedback, and Tomas is thorough ensuring you understand and are satisfied with any information being relayed about your prescription or overall eye health/care. If anyone who feels at all anxious (about having eye sight and health tests, or in general) is reading this looking for somewhere they'll feel listened to, well informed, and looked after, this is the place. Frame prices do run a bit higher than they do at big chains, with possibly fewer options that sit in the lower end of the bracket, but the frames I got were £80 and there were plenty that were similar. There's no pressure or hard sell cost wise and the selection and quality are great.
