Not a great experience. Arrived and they had given my appointment to someone else the previous day, when I had already had to wait a week for an appointment. Now having to wait another week to be seen. Offered three other clinics that are not convenient for me to get to…so guess I have to wait another week to be seen.

I would like to thank the team at Eye 2 Eye. I developed an eye problem overnight. They kindly squeezed me in for an emergency appointment if I didn't mind waiting in case of a no-show. The specialist optician was very knowledgeable, supportive, and caring. Can't recommend them highly enough.

For medical eye care, I can’t recommend these guys highly enough, seriously clever guys. As an opticians tho, not so sure… I came having received excellent medical eye care previously, somewhat urgent with a summer trip booked, and arrived to find that my appointment didn’t exist (I didn’t imagine it!) this was resolved only after complaining by email, they did pull out the stops and I received my lenses the day before I travelled. As expected new varifocals were hard to adjust to, but only realised for sure that they were just plain wrong some time later when driving overnight for the first time since having them. As soon as was possible I visited, only to be dismissed, stating that my eyes must have changed (they haven’t, they’re mine and I know them quite well!) I spent £700 (yes, 700) on two pairs of lenses only and was just dismissed out of hand, maybe I should have come back sooner? Sure, but I’m busy and I wasn’t sure they were wrong until I made that overnight drive. All in all, better after care from the budget opticians, and even if not, if it takes 10 trys to get it right, you’ll still be better off. I also managed to get 2 parking tickets during this saga, beware the car park, you may not see a meter, but you have to pay! Apparently the meter is at the chemists, I didn’t go to the chemists, I went to the opticians…

My husband was taken for an appointment with a career they were 10 min late no fault of there's was hospital transport he has Emphysema, dementia, frail and elderly uses a wheelchair these people refused to see him the career rang for transport at 5pm problem with transport they were asked to leave as the shop was shutting they both had to wait outside for 40min in icy freezing dark night this has been double checked by the care home. and the career eye to e and and the career
