My boyfriend and I rented a campervan from Explorers for one week while we were visiting England from the States. Overall, we had a wonderful experience that we will always remember. We visited London, Portsmouth, Weymouth, Newquay, Stonehenge, and Bath. It was very reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The bed was very easy to set up and change into a kitchen and dining area. I found it really useful that I could charge my iphone throughout our trip because with an English sim card I purchased, I was able to look up maps and points of interest, and email my family back home. We were able to cook meals on the gas stove that came with the van. We didn’t have to run around buying bedding and disposable cups, plates, utensils etc that you usually have to on camping trips because this was all included with the van. I think the trip could have become very expensive quickly for us without all this stuff. The staff were very friendly when we picked up/dropped off the van and even made suggestions on where we should go, and told us about some of the main differences from driving in the UK from back home. It poured rain one of the nights we were in Newquay and we felt cozy, comfy and invincible in the van, I can't help but feel like it really would have ruined our stay if we were in a tent. I would highly recommend these campervans to anybody going on any kind of road-trip or camping excursion. If we had more time we would have gone to Europe in it.
