Cannot recommend - doors without locks, beds that cause back pain and horses that are risky to ride made me leave early. I was given the choice between a horse that "makes a little jump" in canter, a half-blind horse and one that refuses to walk on. I chose the first, was given horse-specific riding instructions but those actually made the bucking worse. When following my instincts and reverting to my formal riding education, the horse finally calmed down. Nevertheless I was made to feel responsible for their horse's bad behaviour. So I did not risk the other two rides I had booked, especially because I was unable to sleep at night due to feeling unsafe in a guest house without locks. tl;dr: Not recommendable based on safety concerns about accommodation & horses.

Fantastic ride across Exmoor. The horses were safe but not donkeys. Would definitely recommend if you have a bit of experience and fancy a lovely canter with some nice scenery

Fantastic 5 days of horsey fun. The b&b was so comfy and clean - I slept so well. The horses were incredible - such a tonic after lockdown. I rode Rio, Paps and Flo - all were forward going and joy to ride. I had a natural horsemanship with Cathy and the gorgeous Paps - it was incredible to learn from someone so passionate and knowledgeable. I will certainly be back. If you love horses and are an intermediate/experience rider you will be in HEAVEN staying here as the trails are fabulous, views are stunning and the horses are a joy (obviously so well cared for and adored).

This is the third year that granddaughter, 8, has had a ride and it's just as magical each time. The fact that she gets to walk right round the village on the road is very special. The horses are beautiful and well kept. The staff are kind and patient and obviously love what they do. Owner Cathy couldn't be more accommodating and the prices are extremely competitive. Thoroughly recommend.
