We love visiting the Northcott Theatre. This weekend we've seen two operas by the English Touring Opera; on other occasions we've seen plays and other operas. This a relatively small theatre set in the ground of Exeter University. Being small, the feel is intimate. The stage and the players are up close and the acoustic is great. The is the opportunity for simple food before show and there is, of course, a licensed bar for drinks before a show or at the interval. After 6 pm there is plenty of free parking in the university car parks. If you don't want to drive, there are bus services unti town and taxis can be booked. P.S. it's 2023 and we're here again for another 2 nights of opera. Wonderful.

Lovely little theatre - seen several children's plays based on Julia Donaldson novels and the little ones have absolutely loved it.

What a lovely theatre. Great seating allowing a really good view of the stage. There is also a really nice cafe where you can eat and grab a coffee. Parking might be a bit of an issue so just leave plenty of time.
