Very poor company to deal with, my wife was hit from the rear while driving home from work one evening in August 2021 due to a Ewals driver not paying attention to the busy traffic conditions. January 2023 and their insurance company and UK office are still ignoring the correspondence from my insurance company. My wife was very shaken up after the incident and got away lightly with some bruises where the airbags went off and seat belt grabbed her. Considering a 48 ton vehicle hitting a 1 ton vehicle from the rear and completely smashing it to pieces I think she was fortunate to walk away. The driver seemed to have a dashcam but when police asked for footage he denied access. I wonder why he would do that?????????

I am posting this because as we are in lockdown and I can’t go to see my family why is it a EWALS Cargo lorry can come from Romania come on to a residential estate with a tractor unit and meet up with people in the street transfer items from a car then spend 5 hours at a house on the estate. So much for social distancing and a big risk of spreading covid 19 . I emailed the company but did not receive a reply I would have thought they have a duty of care. But couldn’t care less about covid 19 .I have photos off the vehicle and also emailed the contractor but also no reply.
