Evolution Darlington is a fantastic club that caters for people of all ages and all skill sets. My son has been going there since 7 years old. The atmosphere is excellent its a very welcoming club and James & Luke are probably the best coaches in the area for combat kickboxing & Jiu Jitsu. I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone lucky enough to live close enough to train here.

Amazing place with amazing teacher :D. warm , friendly and helpful :D my daughter has been going here sins she was 4 ..she's now turning 9 and gose three times a week and looks forward to going and seeing her friends and training learning new moves . She eaven shows me what new moves she learned that class . Soo blessed there is an wonderful save warm place for her to go and train . :D

I started kickboxing here when I was almost 40, the same time as my boy started the kids classes. It’s fair to say you don’t quite know what to expect, especially when you’re a bit older with no experience in martial arts. More than 3 years later and I couldn’t recommend Evo highly enough - the instructors are fantastic and all bring something different to sessions drawing on their own experience and specialisms. Classes are always pitched right for whatever level you’re working at. Loads of support and guidance, everyone has different training goals from those who want to become pro fighters, to those who are just there for what has to be the most fun way there is to get in shape. The team have the experience, skill and knowledge to help you achieve whatever it is you want to achieve. My boy (11) is also still going strong and absolutely loves the kids sessions, where again things are pitched right for each age group and the instructors are amazing at dealing with kids from all kinds of backgrounds with all kinds of learning needs. There’s no ego at evo, from your first day everyone, from black belts to fellow beginners, is just trying to improve and help everyone else improve. A very welcoming and friendly place which can be difficult to find, always a great atmosphere and always a great group of people to train with.

Luke and James are both very experienced. They have a way of breaking things down to make them easy to understand. Luke is a 10th Planet black belt and had a wealth of knowledge to share. The classes are always well run and kept light hearted so everyone can enjoy them. Would highly recommend people to sign up
