My son had an appointment to register his marriage in October 22. I went in with him but the lady seemed a bit put back that I was following my son into the room. I then explained I was his father and I offered to stand outside but she said no it was ok. My son had to answer quite a few questions but the lady never asked if he had a non visual disabilty ........he has dyslexia. One question he was getting a bit confused with and I was going to mention that he has dyslexia but all I got was Shush from the lady 😱 So I never got chance to explain. Everything was ok in the end but my son did struggle with dates and names and this made him a bit flustered. I just think it may help if they ask about non visible disabilties before any other questions.
