I am very disappointed with how they are treating me. The level of communication is terrible. I have been chasing them for a few days, and they seem to ignore me. The latest response has been to call the Call Centre. Before the Customer Relations department says they have been in touch, they have not. I have been chasing this, not them. I will update this review with the good, the bad, and the ugly shortly, but I have put this review so that anyone considering them thinks about if being fobbed off is something you can cope with. Why is it that The Customer has to chase this and reach out? Why can't Everest do this? Update on review: Everest finally did get back and resolved the issue but again it took ages.

After a 2 hour home visit I was quoted £18K for replacement timber sash windows for ONE ROOM only. Shockingly expensive, and total waste of 2 hours. Cost information on the website is not sufficient to allow the customer to make an informed choice BEFORE long winded home visit is booked.

I had my guttering fascias replaced by Everest. After the first rain after having them replaced it caused rain to leak down each corner of my house. After numerous emails back and forth with the customer service, they haven’t rectified the problem or sent anybody round to see the problem. The mistake I made was paying in full, if I had paid in instalments I’m sure they would be more interested in my complain! My advise would be don’t pay in full until you are happy with the work, and don’t expect anything from their customer service as it is frankly a joke! I will never use this company again. I have given one star as that is the lowest score I can leave otherwise it would have been a zero!

Really poor customer service. Door installed with a malfunctioning lock. The installer claimed it was usual and I should wait to for it to ease over the next couple of months. My wife and kids were unable to use the door, causing huge inconvenience and stress. After 2 months of waiting I raised the issue on a courtesy call made by Everest. The problem was eventually fixed 2 months later after 2 attempts. The first attempt was delayed by a week by Everest. It lasted most of the day and was unsuccessful. The installer said a part was needed and left. There was no further communication until I complained. The second took just 5 minutes to fix but had to done by the installer letting himself into our house (using the unlocked backdoor as our front door didn't work) after they arrived 5 hours late. One was rescheduled via email and the other was booked at the wrong time. The installer sent to fix the issue on the first occasion also couldn't work the lock (locking himself out of the house twice) and claimed that it was installed incorrectly and should of been noticed at time of being installed. I paid just under £4,500 for a front door that didn't work for almost 4 months. Everest customer service deny that I was lied to by either installer, despite it being impossible both of their accounts to be true, and felt that the time taken to fix was acceptable. This was because I didn't raise as an emergency issue. Remember, this was due to being told by their installer it was completely normal and will ease over time. Twice in my complaint, 2 separate customer service representatives told me they will definitely look at a gesture of goodwill for me. At the end of the complaint, after no mention of the gesture of goodwill and me reminding them of what they said, they are now telling me they have looked at it and decided there should be no gesture of goodwill. The service you get up until the point you pay your money is exceptional. After you part with your money it is abysmal. This is the worst money I have ever spent. I recommend to everyone to look elsewhere.

Everest "went out of business" during lockdown. Now they are back. However, by claiming to be a new business they are refusing to honour the 10 year warranties for ANYTHING they sold and installed before lockdown. So my pensioner mother has been forced to pay herself to replace the roof in her conservatory after it developed multiple leaks. This conservatory was less than 5 years old and still well within the 10 year warranty. But the "new" Everest claim they don't have to honour it since it was the "old" Everest who sold and installed the conservatory. Absolute disgrace.

Very old fashion sales pitch, hard sale at end, no deposit NOW, no savings and pay full price. Attitude was company don't care they have enough customers!! even as he was leaving, he actually smiled and said if you change your minds you have until end of today to pay a deposit ( it was Sunday). Maybe he had hump and had probably driven far?

I bought a window from Everest. The agent and the surveyor told me that scaffolding was required to install the window (cost ~310 GBP), hence charging the rental. The installers conversely used a standard ladder to install the window. One hour after the installation was finished, I received several messages about the delivery of the scaffold: I contacted Everest that cancelled that order. I contacted Everest several times for a refund and receiving the same answer every time: that soon I'll be contacted by the installation team to discuss the matter. This never happened, however. So: * I was charged for a scaffold that has not been used * I had to communicate the Everest that the scaffolding was out for delivery (even though the window was installed), so they could cancel the order * I still waiting to be contacted for the refund. Very disappointing.
