  We booked a newborn shoot with Karl and the photos are stunning, we had to have them all! Karl is friendly and approachable and the communication throughout the process was brilliant. The website for viewing the photos was also easy to use. Karl has created a chilled relaxed atmosphere in his studio and it was reassuring to know his assistant was a qualified baby first aider and she took care of all the outfit changes and positioning and made sure our little girl was happy and comfortable at all times. We would definitely recommend Karl and he will be our 1st choice for any future photography needs.

  Karl was not only a wonderful photographer but he also felt like a family member/ coordinator/ wedding planner. He took the most beautiful photographs that captured each moment of the day perfectly whilst being so kind, reassuring, lending a hand and effortlessly helping everything run smoothly. He had so much fun with us all and the whole wedding party couldn’t stop talking about how great he was. Absolutely amazing and would highly recommend!

  Karl has been absolutely amazing from start to finish in the process of hiring him for my parents surprise anniversary party. He always replied to emails promptly, was very helpful with any questions and is absolutely lovely! He took a wonderful array of pictures and didn’t stop taking photos for a moment the entire time he was with us! He even stayed later than arranged to make sure he had some nice photos of my parents together and close family shots at the end as the evening had been a bit of a shock for my parents who had been mingling around all evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Karl again, he made the whole process so easy and stress free and captured the moments perfectly, and the amazing photos were ready within a couple of days - bonus!   What can I say about Karl... Well as per the other reviews with one slight difference. Karl was already a friend before the wedding! My wife and I had the pleasure of being Karl's very first wedding 10 years ago! Capably assisted by his young (now not so) son Cheese! (A nickname that I still use to this day!) Relaxed and natural photos were what we wanted and Karl did a great job. Our son was also Karl's first baby shoot which was very special to us. All round top bloke!

  Well what can I say, who else would I choose to capture our special weekend! With Karl’s expertise we got exactly what we wanted over the 2 days, we had different tempo’s and locations for Photos and he managed to help us achieve the exact shots we were after. With a mixture of more official shots with families and friends after the ceremony to the nighttime relaxed shoot with just us, to using smoke bombs and Sparklers for that something extra!! Karl and his fabulous assistant Nina were fantastic whether dealing with just me and my husband or whether they were dealing with our aunties, uncles and nieces or nephews etc. I cannot rate them and their service enough! Thank you Karl!!

  Karl Drage is without a doubt the best Tradesperson/Professional that I've ever had the pleasure to hire the services of. Honestly, both Karl and his assistant/second photographer Klaudia have given my wife and I sublime photographs of our wedding day that will enable us to relive our treasured memories for a lifetime. When I was reading testimonials on Karl before we had even contacted him, I explicitly remember one person mentioning how Karl had started as a photographer but left a friend... and do you know what? We feel the same way. Before the event, you can expect exemplary communication. As a deaf person, I often struggle with getting people to converse with me over email; it's almost like it's too much hassle for them. Not with Karl. From the very first email to the very last, Karl always responded swiftly, often within 24 hours, and each email answered my questions or responded to points made in such a kind and pleasant way that I was never made to feel burdensome or silly for asking a question or being concerned over trivial matters. It's a small thing in the overall package but to my wife and I, it was a huge deal. On the day itself, Karl (and Klaudia) is as professional as it gets; yet gives off a very relaxed aura. Many of the guests commented how nice and approachable Karl was, but never being too "in your face". He specialises in using the long lens to take shots from further away and knew when to stand in the background and just let things happen. For "staged" shots, Karl was more than happy to experiment with shots that we had suggested using a wide array of tools at his disposal such as Smoke Grenades, Bubble machine, crystal balls, portable lights, Sparklers... Not to mention the low-light and sunset shots we had requested that saw him on his hands and knees getting the most perfect angles while Klaudia moved the portable lighting around us! Honestly, there is too many positives to write about. It is without question that we would highly recommending Karl to anyone who needs the services of a photographer.   We happened to stumble across Karl when looking for a family photographer. What a great find! Super friendly, super accommodating and super talented. We had such a fun day having our pictures taken and nothing was too much trouble. The turn around was very quick and the quality of the photos were spot on. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

  Not only is Karl the consumate professional and a very fine photographer, he is also great fun and very easy to work with. We have a set of images from our wedding that we will never tire of looking back on and that is all thanks to Karl, who worked tirelessly and creatively but unobstructively.   Worth every penny and more! Karl has been nothing but lovely since first contact, he was very responsive to our ideas as well has giving fantastic suggestions. He was wonderful on our big day, guests have commented on how professional and polite he was. His photographs are stunning and he really managed to capture our day perfectly. Fast turn around after our event. Would strongly recommend Karl for any and all events.
