Be blunt But fair
Excellent place. Squeeky clean. Plenty of clean towels. Really kind (Christine) and other staff. Beautiful ornate surroundings. Plenty of treatments to choose from if thats your bag or just go to the turkish. We had a spa then a full body massage with Tranquility oils! OMGoodness it was fantastic felt so relaxed i should have gone home and relaaxed! My friend had sleep treatment and felt the same. But I got the timings the wrong way round so instead we - went into the turkish baths then a scrub down (glorious)... all perfect but back to front! I would suggest... sauna, scrubdown, turkish baths ,- you must brave the plunge pool at least twice... then message... then maybe steam room to help it sink in ... then cool off... then back to abode for film / soothing music and take away! (So, on reflection some advice when i rang to book would have been helpful). Only true negative is cost of refreshments. We had a very nice bread roll with filling with a salad garnish and a drink but it cost £10 each. No crisps or biscuits or cake or fruit to follow. Hot drinks started at £3, cold about £1.50. The plus is that there is plenty of cold water available throughout the baths. Totally enjoyed our day which started at 12 noon and finished at about 5.30. I wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Stunning experience. Underwhelming from the outside, but don't let it fool you. 10min wait (was early) which helped relax through scents and music. Black and white film of early 20th century treatments was fascinating (and now likely illegal...). Think staff should explain the rooms and sequence of hot cold philosophy for newbies like me as if hadn't asked would have been clueless (saw one lady who didn't know and left after 30mins sadly). Overall, definitely recommend and will be back. Left floating on a cloud and undid the good work with a chilled beer afterwards.
