Very easy service, good price and a very professional and polite desk staff, who managed to adjust our booking to get a better deal. Easy pickup and drop off , car was in great condition. A good experience, with the car. However, we received some fines for congestion charge and wrong area to drive through and we were sent the fines and an administrative fee which we paid in full. Unfortunately it appears Europcar sent the fines at different times and much later so they could charge separate administration fees, despite the issuing authority sending the fines at the same time, 14 days before Europcar sent them to us (a week apart) The customer support dealing with this has been abysmal, they ask questions but never listen , the tickets opened contained entirely incorrect information and the same repeated cut and paste. The support representatives seem to find it hard to deal with more involved problems and resort to talking over and passing the issue on, nothing being solved. I can no longer fully recommend them based on this experience later after our hire. The administration fee is OK on one occasion, but how they forward fines is highly dubious.
