Used to like this place but things seem to have changed. Went to a birthday soft play party today when a little girl twisted her ankle when stepping between the two floor mats, one higher than the other. It was the same place I almost twisted my ankle ten minutes ago. Both myself and the girl were on bare feet. The party host/staff quickly came to check on the girl and provided first aid support in a very friendly manner. But when I raised to him that the drop between the two mats were concerning, he was very rude and dismissed me straight away, saying the mats have been there for years and are very expensive to replace. He also said that's why people need to be off socks despite me making clear to him we didn't wear any socks when on mat. Leaving the health and safety point aside, I found the attitude towards me as a customer unacceptable. There was no interest in listening to the customer or any respect. I was considering having my daughter's next birthday party here but this option is now completely off the table given what happened today.
