The area manager Gregg was unhelpful after spending £855 on a faulty part that I got fitted and then had to get unfitted due to part being coded wrong he could have made my life a lot easier by giving me a like for like to replace the same time as removing the faulty one as I had to come back for my surcharge anyway but instead of this i then had to get the old one fitted back in to drive back I asked for the head office number which he spent over 5mins searching google (why an area manager doesn’t have this handy is beyond me) to then on my return not even coming down to see me and getting a colleague (Luke who was helpful but couldn’t authorise hence getting Gregg down) to refund me when I was happy to pay the £555 for a working part - honestly the worst customer service I have received and still 5 hours later I’m just as fuming as I was - they say why go to a main dealer for part on the phone and this is why if he would have just let me take the like for like to get changed for the inconvenience but he was too worried I wanted what!? A faulty part and not my surcharge back - Area managers should treat people how they want to be treated and if he would have put the customer first this review would be completely different right now and I will be contacting head office and writing on every review I can in hope that the next customer doesn’t waste the hours I have trying to sort this out and ending up being exactly where I was at the beginning just more out of pocket… also he didn’t even apologise which was just the icing on the cake!
