We stayed at Tipperthwaite Barn - with our ageing Springer, from 24th -29th April. We would have no hesitation in returning and recommending Tipperthwaite to our friends and family. it was so nice to be personally welcomed at the door by Mike and Ruth. They have created a tremendous holiday home which was warm and relaxing with comfortable furniture and bed. The welcome pack was a really nice touch too! The location is superb and the views from all parts of the Barn just stunning. Of course we also need to mention the donkeys, ponies, sheep, chickens and slightly bonkers dog which added that extra charm.

Amazing location and exceptionally clean. The accommodation was well equipped with everything you would need for a home from home holiday. The welcome basket of goodies was much appreciated not to mention delicious. The barn had everything to create a relaxing atmosphere from board games, books, CD’s and DVD’s to keep you occupied should the weather be unkind. Whether you enjoy exploring on foot, wheels or by hoof Ruth and Mike’s holiday let cannot be recommended enough. P.S Ruth and Mike are excellent friendly hosts. Nothing is too much for them. Tipperthwaite Barn is a rare find which is in a league of its own.
