Having never gone through the process before we were unsure as to the process but he made us feel at ease with constant communication and professional advice. We are so pleased the owners of the property sold their house through Tom and we won't be using anyone else but him in the future as our estate agent.

  When we were first thinking of selling, we were unsure as to who to market our property with and were hesitant about estate agents due to a bad experience when purchasing our first home. Tom was recommended by our mortgage broker and so we engaged his services to sell our property. Tom was fab throughout the process and we strongly believe that independent agents are the way forward! We initially sold our property in July 2022 but our sale unfortunately fell through in November (through no fault of Tom’s) so he got us back on the market ASAP and we sold again in February. He kept us in the loop throughout the process and managed the solicitors to ensure the sale went through as quickly as possible. He was very contactable, even replying to messages during unsociable hours and nothing ever seemed too much. Tom offers a very personal, highly attentive service and we would highly recommend him to anyone considering selling their house.

When you sign up with him you are signing up a business partner who has your best interest at heart. Industry specialist like Tom do not come along very often and deserves praise when its due. We have not come across the high level of professionalism that he has portrayed in a long time. In all of our dealings with him we found him very pleasant and approachable, highly knowledgeable in his field, an exceptional character and an expert in understanding what is required. He delivered what he said he would in the initial meeting which was to market our property across different platforms with a modern and innovative approach in order to gain a wide audience. He also keeps you informed of progress on a regular basis and is contactable every day to answer any questions and queries. A job very well done!   I recently sold my property in Rochester with the help of Tom. I wanted minimal stress, to feel in control and have frequently updates. Tom ticked all these boxes with ease. Due to the nature of my work I am not able to take phone calls during the day. I contacted, via email, 2 “traditional” estate agents as well as Tom. I explained what I wanted to do, and that I couldn’t take daytime calls. The following day I received a phone call from one estate agent. They were dropped instantly as clearly either they couldn’t read, or chose to ignore my request. This left Tom and the other “traditional” agent. The other agent would often not be around and messages would need to be left. Responses usually took around 24hrs. Tom however, came back to me each time within 2 hours. I was unsure whether to go with Tom, after all he works by himself. As my wife stated, "Tom might be quick at answering emails now, but what if he gets too busy?" Anyway, I took the chance and I’m delighted to say, I’m glad I did. From the get go Tom was professional. He was always extremely polite and courteous (something you rarely see these days), he was consistent, he was keen to answer all my questions, even those sent after 6pm, and - perhaps most of all - he was personal. Communication was excellent with Tom. Regular updates would arrive in my inbox. He was happy to make suggestions and helped me achieve a sale price on my property which I was very pleased with. There were some issues with the buyers solicitors (what’s new!?) but Tom handled these professionally and help recover a potentially difficult situation. His approach is both modern (look for his YouTube videos) and conventional. Nothing is too much trouble for this man, and he definitely goes the extra mile to ensure the customer is always put first. Again, a bit of a rarity these days in my experience. All in all, I’m pleased I engaged Tom to sell my property. Yes, he has the smart suit, and the flash car, but that’s where the similarity to a regular estate agent ends. His motto is, “With him it’s personal”. I couldn’t agree more. Thank you, Tom. PS: I am not affiliated to Mr Dix in any way, and this is a truthful review for which I gained no reward. I’m quick to criticise poor service, I am also quick to highlight top-quality service. It takes a lot to impress me. But, rest assured, I was impressed with Tom Dix. Should I need any house buying/selling services in the future, Tom will be the only estate agent on my list.
