Good price on unleaded petrol at the time of my visit. Sunday 4th December 2022. P.M. I tended to leave this place as a last resort due to the usually higher than average fuel prices. When it was Texaco. My usual go-to in kings Heath, ran out of fuel 😔 Easy to get to. However, assess is a little tricky as you need to cut across a side road. More so if coming from the righthand side from City centre end. As you look at it. Person serving was very grumpy and wouldn't break a smile or engage in polite conversation. He just just was dead pan throughout the engagement. Maybe not outwardly rode but definitely verging on it by not talking or reacting to my pleasantries. And just looking at me as though I was interrupting him. Uncomfortable feeling. Steps to access the store, can be slippy. Lots of snacks to buy, coffee machine and a fair amount of car or travel related items in store. ATM/ cash machine on the left of door to store, on the forecourt. Place would benefit from a make over and staff review. Update: I returned for fuel this past weekend Sunday 11th Dec 22. A greatly improved experience. Staff member was so pleasant and engaging. He initiated conversation and was light hearted and jovial. I left the shop with a smile on my face. Totally opposite to my previous encounter. More staff like the second guy, please!
