Hugely disappointed , we have visited many times the shop and although it’s quite expensive we always enjoy the visit my kids love the milk van outside where you can get flavoured milkshakes . Unfortunately yesterday we decided to travel over to try the Sunday roast and were hugely disappointed . Firstly it was quite expensive (15.95 for an adult , 10.95 for a child , 5.95 for a toddler ) , but we thought it looked good and decided to try . Sadly the first disappointment came when we were bought our plates as adults, we were given 4 roast potatoes , a small ball of stuffing and a few slices of very fatty beef , so fatty a lot of it was inedible . We ordered a child’s plate for my 8 year old and a toddler plate for my 4 year old and when they arrived , they were both given 2 roast potatoes and a one slice of beef for toddler and two slices for child . So we paid £6 more for our older child and got given one extra slice of beef ?? They even had the same size plate. They bought some veg out ( broccoli cabbage and carrot mash ) that you could help yourself too but that was it . We were disappointed after paying so much and it wasn’t anything special at all . Looking around some people had been given extra plates of roast potatoes or roast parsnips but we weren’t given these and when I asked we were told that you don’t get extra things . We didn’t even have anything mash so my plate just seemed really bare . Children didn’t really eat it as the beef was extremely fatty and they weren’t able to chew and it just turned into a horrible experience . The waitress kept rolling her eyes at us and leaning against the wall staring at us which again was really uncomfortable . I’d recommend going to berry brook farm locally if you are after dinner and get your moneys worth as this was very very disappointing

We stopped by for a quick bite. The food was good. We also took a tour of the farm shop and greenhouses. Meats & produce looked so fresh (more so than what we are used to seeing back at home)!

Great little find. Food was delicious (opted for the farm to table options on the menu) and their coffee was nice and strong. Lovely little farm shop which I find very reasonably priced. Fresh cream Belgian buns are a must try! They also have a quirky milkshake van located outside of the farm shop serving milk/milkshakes from their very own cows. Will return.

Great farm shop and plant nursery also a restaurant and during the season you can pick your own fruit. As is expected at somewhere like this there are a lot of Artisan products although they are not cheap they are worth what you pay. Essington Farm also has a Milk Stop which are becoming very popular prices here are fair as well. In summer it can be a great way to spend a few hours with the kids picking/eating your own fruits.
