Essex Industrial Gases (EIG) delivered a 10L tank of helium to us over the August 2018 Bank Holiday weekend and the transaction was smooth from start to finish. We had a 150 balloons to fill for a party and the prices on Amazon for throwaway helium tanks worked out to almost double the £54 we paid here. There was also a high number of lackluster reviews that said the tanks were not capable of filling the number of balloons quoted (e.g. 30, 50). The 10L tank suggested we could fill 120 twelve inch balloons but we were able to fill 175 balloons on this occasion. I phoned EIG to order a tank the week before it was required and spoke with Simon, who was incredibly helpful over the phone when answering my queries. They delivered/collected exactly when they said they would and the tank was simple to use after the delivery driver gave us a quick tutorial on how to attach the inflator safely. I would describe EIG as the John Lewis of natural gas companies, who seem to welcome small orders such as ours.
