Kat was our main contact who talked us through the whole process then we had a younger boy and girl (I believe her name was Abbie) who were both brilliant on the day. Kat and her team were absolutely AMAZING! From the start our party was full of issues due so many allergies ! Kat was utterly unfazed and professional … she catered for every single one and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t recommend them enough! They are wonderful, considerate, meticulous and above all the food is delicious.

I had Essex Hog Roasts for my wedding of 200 people and they were absolutely fantastic! The canapés and main meal were amazing, all cooked to perfection and so many of guests have commented on how lovely the food and servers were. Kat was so lovely to work with, really professional, she went out of her way to make additional things I asked to be served that wasn’t on the menu. She also come and brought me and my husband a plate of delicious food when I she noticed I was caught up with chatting to people at the wedding. Kat and her team are such lovely people who use high quality produce and cook it well. I couldn’t recommend them any higher. Thanks so much

Everyone - please ignore the erroneous review from Nils below (a small amount of research uncovers that he doesn't like meat!!!). Here is a review from my wife which I thoroughly agree with: Hi Kat, We just wanted to say how fantastic the food was on Saturday ! Thank you . Everyone was full of compliments . The vegetarians loved their burgers too . Everything was perfect and the team were professional and helpful and really lovely . We will be recommending you for sure ! What can I say but fantastic! Hired the team for our wedding celebrations for a full bbq meal and hog roast in the evening. The food was outstanding and delicious and the service fast and spot on. This review will not do justice to how much we appreciate Hilary and team at Essex Hog Roasts. We were let down by our Wedding caterers less than 48 hours before the big day. I got in touch with Hilary and with only a days notice she managed to provide us with a stunning BBQ buffet for 100 guests. We also has 10 pescatarians, and a couple vegetarians to negotiate - all taken care of. Nearly all our guests complimented us on the food, and I can personally vouch for the positive feedback and say the food was incredible. Professional and clean, they also arrived and left without me even noticing. Could not recommend more highly - thanks for saving the day guys!
