I found Joe via a Facebook post- he was offering a pre/post marathon deal which was amazing value and perfect as my knees were suffering due to so much road running. After a quick chat, we booked a date in for my pre marathon session. Joe is really knowledgeable and takes time to understand where any pain is and explains what he is doing as he's doing it - I felt instantly comfortable and my legs felt like fluffy clouds after the session! He really eased tension, not just in my knees but by treating my lower back and hip flexors, and gave me me increased mobility in my legs all round. I then had my post marathon session yesterday which was the best way to recover! Again my knees were swollen and tight, but I had been suffering from a headache, so Joe spent time working on my shoulders, upper chest and neck...I honestly couldn't believe that he cured my headache but he did! Joe is a really genuine and lovely chap who is really client focused. At no point did it feel like he was clock watching (I couldn't believe the time he spent and was so grateful), and I didn't feel rushed at all. Thank you so, so much, Joe! I don't actually live locally which is a shame as I would definitely be a regular client, but any time I am in the area, even if I'm not training for an event, I will be contacting Joe to pop round. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a sports massage, or who suffers from any body tension, headaches or niggles.

I contacted Joe about my sore shoulder from an old rugby injury which has recently been aggravated. Joe from the initial phone call was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Joe arrived and worked on the shoulder and my whole body. The pain has eased but not only did he work on the problem area but also my stiff stiff joints and hamstrings and I feel so much better already. I have had many physio's and massages on treatment tables from 30 yrs+ playing rugby and I can confidently say Joe gave the best sports massage I have ever had.
