(Translated by Google) Top support from excellent trainers and like a family! I spent 12 stays in the camps of No1 Bootcamp - so really time for a review. I was able to get to know the camps in Ibiza, in Marrakech, in the Algarve/Portugal and in Norfolk - the latter is the main location of No1 and is open almost all year round. The camps outside of England take place on a few dates, mostly in the cooler seasons. I booked my first camp in 2018 - spontaneously in Norfolk to distract myself from an extremely painful loss. This week helped me a lot: with a well-structured day, very nice people and a great team spirit. I came home after a week a new person. I also felt like keeping fit again - not least thanks to the extremely high quality of the training. The trainers have many years of experience, some of them with roots in the military field. But that does not mean that you would be yelled at - on the contrary: These are absolutely funny and warm-hearted guys who know how to train very effectively and also safely and stay motivated at the same time. I'm always particularly happy when Gee (ex Royal Marine and head trainer and a real super brain) is at the start. But so far everyone has been great. Everyone has a lot of knowledge about the subject (training, nutrition, motivation) and everyone is always there if you have a concern. The training days offer a lot of variety: HIIT, LISS, strength training with weights or body weight, team challenges, short and long hikes, boxing. Depending on the location, there are also swimming, spinning or beach workouts and visits to the gym. There are very different fitness levels at the start. BUT: The training is coordinated in such a way that everyone can work towards their individual goals - even with handicaps, whereby safety always has priority. The progressions and regressions are presented for each exercise. The team spirit is strong and there is always encouragement from the trainers. Before the first training session, there is an individual discussion with the trainers in which the goals for the week are clarified - e.g. B. Weight loss, muscle building, general fitness improvement. The trainers pay a lot of attention to a clean execution (explain what is important, but also go around and correct) and of course sufficient warm-up so that the training can be carried out very safely. The food was great at every camp. The portion size is adjusted to individual fitness goals and changed again during the week if necessary. There is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Additional protein shakes by arrangement. A coffee in the morning is allowed. Diet, intolerances or the avoidance of certain foods are taken into account. Everything tastes delicious, is health-oriented, and the meals also look good. The camp in Norfolk is located in an old farmhouse near the beach. Norfolk is also a frequent destination for long-term guests who are there for several weeks to achieve their weight loss or fitness goals. In Marrakech and Ibiza the camps took place in villas, in Portugal in a hotel using the top sports center "The Campus". In the evening, massages can be booked on request. I meet old acquaintances in many camps. Of course with the trainers, camp boss Deena and other staff - but also with the participants. There are many nice people who like to come back again and again, just like me. Mostly from UK, but generally the audience is international, I met people from Germany too. Each time it's a bit like coming back to a family. For me, it's a week's break from everyday life and a complete makeover, both physically and mentally, which I'll probably take every few months in the future - I'm hoping for many more camps, including at the new destination of St. Tropez! (Original) Top-Betreuung durch exzellente Trainer und wie eine Familie! 12 Aufenthalte habe ich in den Camps von No1 Bootcamp verbracht – also wirklich Zeit für eine Rezension. Kennenlernen durfte ich die Camps auf Ibiza, in Marrakesch, an der Algarve/Portugal sowie in Norfolk – letzteres ist der Hauptstandort von No1 und fast das ganze Jahr über geöffnet. Die Camps außerhalb von England finden jeweils an wenigen Terminen statt, meist in den kühleren Jahreszeiten. Mein erstes Camp habe ich 2018 gebucht – spontan in Norfolk, um mich von einem äußerst schmerzlichen Verlust abzulenken. Diese Woche hat mir sehr dabei geholfen: durch einen gut strukturierten Tag, sehr nette Menschen und ein tolles Teamgefühl. Ich bin nach einer Woche als neuer Mensch heimgekehrt. Außerdem hatte ich wieder Lust, mich fit zu halten – nicht zuletzt dank der extrem hohen Qualität des Trainings. Die Trainer haben langjährige Erfahrung, einige von ihnen Wurzeln im militärischen Bereich. Das heißt aber nicht, dass man angebrüllt würde – im Gegenteil: Das sind absolut lustige und herzenswarme Kerle, die wissen, wie man sehr effektiv und zudem sicher trainiert und dabei motiviert bleibt. Ich freue mich immer besonders, wenn Gee (Ex Royal Marine und Cheftrainer und ein echtes Super-Brain) am Start ist. Aber bislang waren alle top. Jeder hat sehr viel Ahnung von der Materie (Training, Ernährung, Motivation) und alle sind immer da, wenn man ein Anliegen hat. Die Trainingstage bieten viel Abwechslung: HIIT, LISS, Krafttraining mit Gewichten oder Körpergewicht, Team-Challenges, kurze und lange Hikes, Boxen. Je nach Location zudem Schwimmen, Spinning oder Beach-Workouts und Besuche im Gym. Es sind sehr unterschiedliche Fitness-Levels am Start. ABER: Die Trainings sind so abgestimmt, dass alle auf ihre individuellen Ziele hinarbeiten können – selbst bei Handicaps, wobei immer die Sicherheit Priorität hat. Zu jeder Übung werden die Progressions und Regressions vorgestellt. Der Teamgedanke ist stark ausgeprägt und es gibt immer Aufmunterungen durch die Trainer. Vor der ersten Trainingseinheit gibt es ein individuelles Gespräch mit den Trainern, in dem die Ziele für die Woche geklärt werden – z. B. Gewichtsabnahme, Muskelaufbau, allgemeine Verbesserung der Fitness. Die Trainer achten sehr auf eine saubere Ausführung (erklären, was wichtig ist, gehen aber auch rum und korrigieren) und natürlich ausreichendes Aufwärmen, sodass das Training sehr sicher durchgeführt werden kann. Das Essen war in jedem Camp großartig. Die Portionsgröße wird auf die individuellen Fitnessziele angepasst und bei Bedarf im Lauf der Woche noch einmal geändert. Es gibt Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen. Nach Absprache noch zusätzliche Proteinshakes. Ein Kaffee morgens ist erlaubt. Auf Ernährungsweisen, Unverträglichkeiten oder das Meiden bestimmter Nahrungsmittel wird Rücksicht genommen. Alles schmeckt sehr lecker, ist gesundheitsorientiert, und auch optisch machen die Mahlzeiten etwas her. Das Camp in Norfolk ist in einem alten Farmhaus in Strandnähe untergebracht. In Norfolk buchen sich auch häufig Langzeitgäste ein, die mehrere Wochen dort sind, um ihre Abnehm- oder Fitnessziele zu erreichen. In Marrakesch und Ibiza fanden die Camps in Villen statt, in Portugal in einem Hotel unter Nutzung des Top-Sportzentrums „The Campus“ Abends können auf Wunsch Massagen gebucht werden. In vielen Camps treffe ich alte Bekannte. Natürlich bei den Trainern, Camp-Chefin Deena und weiterem Personal – aber auch bei den Teilnehmern. Es gibt viele nette Leute, die genau wie ich immer wieder gerne kommen. Die meisten aus UK, aber generell ist das Publikum international, ich habe auch Leute aus Deutschland getroffen. Jedes Mal ist es ein bisschen wie die Rückkehr zu einer Familie. Für mich ist es eine Woche Auszeit vom Alltag und komplette Runderneuerung, körperlich und mental, die ich mir wohl auch in Zukunft alle paar Monate nehmen werde – ich hoffe auf noch viele weitere Camps, auch am neuen Ziel St. Tropez!

I first went to the Norfolk site in June 2022. I found the training, food and environment exactly what I was looking for to kick start me back into fitness. I was surprised by the fact that most people who were there in my first visit had been before. Anyway that 4 days visit produced very pleasing results and as I live fairly close I made the commitment to use it for the summer (on and off 1-2 times per week) both residential and day camp. I have just got back from a week away at the No1 Bootcamp in Portugal with my son where we had a great trip that was the finishing point for achieving all my fitness and weight loss goals set in the summer. I cannot rate the process highly enough. Don't get me wrong it's hard, but only as hard as you want to make it. People of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels all seem to get great benefit from it. It never seems to get easier as when your fitness improves you just push the effort to the next level. Training 5 star Food 5 star Environment 5 star. Finding No1 Bootcamp and sticking with it over the summer was the best thing I've done this year. Thanks to all the team and I will carry on visiting every few weeks for the day camp to keep myself accountable and definitely attend one of the Portugal dates next year.

No1 Boot camp Norfolk - an experience of two halves This boot camp is an experience in two parts really. Firstly the exercise and nutrition and then the accommodation itself. For the nutrition and exercise, you can't fault it. The trainers were motivational and informative at the same time, providing options for different abilities for most of the training. It really was a 'boot camp' mentality with early rising and strict timings on activities, exactly what I had expected. The food was exceptional, with all dietary requirements catered for, and you were never hungry. The programme does produce results, even if it's to improve fitness or wellbeing, so isn't just about losing those extra lockdown pounds. What was disappointing was the accommodation. The rooms and shared or ensuite showers are in serious need of work. And the cleaning, especially in the light of Covid-19 should be improved, which would help guests feel more assured. Keys aren't given to guests to allow rooms to be locked, which is concerning, and rooms are not serviced during the week. So if you are looking for a 'luxury' boot camp experience, this isn't it. But if you can overlook some of the negatives as above and focus on the training, you'll likely enjoy it.

The ultimate fitness bootcamp ............... my goal was to lose weight and improve my overall fitness. Within hours I was having fun, making new friends, learning priceless tools for long term health and fitness and planning my next visit. First class trainers who focus on quality of classes, a full on programme of different activities, amazing food and all nestled in a nugget of Norfolk. My first week turned into many more and I'm sure of many many more. A complete treat for mind, body and soul - its called No 1 for a reason .........

Spent a few days in Norfolk in October. Lovely location - nice converted house - all COVID friendly including Perspex at dinner tables and one way system. Clean and comfortable The Trainers are fantastic from 6.30am they are totally motivated in getting the hardest work and results for everyone with just 100% constant encouragement, even when you are flat down on a mat !! (as I was more than once). Its very hard work but they will doing everything they can to keep you going to the last second ! They work with you, explain carefully what every exercise does, what order to do it and why. In addition you work on exercises that can be done in a small space at home. No expensive equipment just hard work and their expertise being constantly drilled in to you. It was a real eye opener ! The food is amazing. Anyone who thinks healthy food doesn't taste good - needs to come here - All meals were delicious and they will work around any allergies or dislikes. More important just mentally, I came away feeling amazing after a few days here, detoxed, not at all hungry and just motivated to make changes. All shapes, sizes and age groups were in my group but everyone is supportive, the trainers involve everyone and therefore bonding happens quickly within the group and really helps. The team are also very skilled at ensuring they get to know each person and spread themselves very evenly with their time, so everyone feels they are being looked after personally - I watched how quietly and skilfully they did this. Ached from head to foot most days and dreamed of my bed but wouldn't have missed this experience for anything. A 4 instead of a 5 is because the shower pressure, which, for me, was a little intermittent for a boot camp. It becomes so important to the group after an exhausting and often dirty day outside.
