Slightly delayed review from me. I visited the lovely Colette a few months ago, to try her new technique. I was a tad nervous, straight away Colette put me at ease with her warm and welcoming nature, she has a very calming influence. We began with my writing down my concerns and I popped up on the couch. Colette was gentle throughout the whole procedure, informing me of everything she was doing and how it would feel - I was honestly expecting to be covered in needles and in pain! It wasn't at all, and wasn't even the slightest bit sore. I went in with painful hips, knees and all joints in general. Afterwards they'd all but disappeared!!! Even ones I'd gotten so used to, it became normal and I hadn't really noticed until it was gone!!! I was so unbelievably impressed. I highly highly recommend Colette, not only as she's so wonderful at what she does, but also as a person. If you're in the slightest bit of doubt about visiting, I would just go for it. You won't regret it. Thank you so much for such a lovely time and wonderful treatment. My achy joints and I thank you xxx

I was highly recommended to Colette as I had suffered awful fatigue since a stroke almost two years ago. After my first treatment two weeks ago I have felt noticeably stronger and upbeat and not needed an afternoon nap😊 I recently managed a 6 mile dog walk, didn't have aches or usual back pain and felt so motivated. Undergoing my second course of treatment at Colette's. My first was a damaged shoulder from an accident that a few years of conventional physiotherapy had failed to sort but a 6 week course here achieved a 100% improvement in movement and pain relief. Halfway through this course for an internal issue with inflammation and seeing similar results. Wish I'd used this practice straight after the accident.

Colette is like a miracle worker! This is my go to place for natural pain relief. It works every time. I had a shoulder pain from sleeping awkward and it was rectified within an hour. I had a knee pain from twisting whilst walking and colette resolved it within an hour. Unbeknown to colette I had had tennis elbow for 6 years and miraculously, this was resolved during the treatment for my shoulder. I had tried everything to get rid. Most recently I had tenosynovitis in my hand and Colette’s treatment rectified within the hour. No painkillers just accupuncture.?I would recommend every time. Quick, easy, pain free and colette is lovely too!

Colette came highly recommended to me via another acupuncturist. On my first visit I could hardly walk, I had extreme pain in my lower back, pelvis and both legs. I had two walking sticks to help me move. Colette took time to fully evaluate my condition as well as taking a full medical history. I then had the best acupuncture experience I have ever had. By the end of my appointment I had zero pain in my right leg with only a tiny bit of discomfort in my left leg. The zero gravity chair was an absolute joy to relax into, taking the pressure off my lower back. Colette explained why certain needles were placed in specific areas, which I found really interesting. I left that first appointment in absolute body relief, all that pain in moving was eased. I have subsequently gone back for further treatments and each time there are improvements in my body, ease of pain, range of movements. Colette is definitely one of the best acupuncturist I have ever been to and I will definitely be staying with her for what I call my body maintenance. Thank you lively colette.

Essex Acupuncture Rooms has been a great find for me and are my go-to for pain and stress relief. Colette has helped me on several occasions initially with pain relief for Bells Paley’s. Whilst this an ongoing condition my visits to Colette really do bring me great relief with the pain and stress that comes with this condition these sessions have made a difference to me which have been invaluable. Colette also worked her magic on an knee problem, an old injury that I thought would get better in time, walking was painful and I struggled when walking downstairs, after one session with Colette pain was greatly relieved and I was able to walk up and down her stairs pain free and without holding on the handrail! I would recommend Colette 100%, she is a great listener and with her wealth of knowledge you are in safe hands, I have often fall asleep while having a treatment and I leave feeling that I’ve been cared for and understood which I find I don’t get I go to the Doctor.

Its been over a month since my first visit to Colette and to say she has magic in her is putting it mildly. I've left it till now to post as I'm still in awe and shock...one session and the creaking and crunching in my knee not only disappeared but it's stayed away. The aches and stiffness in my arthritic hands completely went during the session...and whilst the aching has returned its significantly reduced to the tune that I barely notice it and the stiffness has not returned at all. I've also felt lighter and more positive ..life has meant I haven't returned yet but I'm hoping to get a other session in soon. If you haven't tried acupuncture. .I cannot recommend Colette at the Essex Acupuncture Room highly enough..she could change your life for the better...and what's not to love a out that? I've had pain in my feet for months now 1 session and my left leg foot is pain free and has remained so. My right foot leg pain has decreased so will definitely book more appointments. I felt so relaxed and stress free.
