This restaurant systematically preys on tourists and overcharges them. We received a non-itemized bill with a random total that was clearly 40-50% higher than it should have been. The waiter also immediately informed us that service charge wasn't included when it clearly was (which we only found out later via other reviews). So either the baked-in service charge goes directly to the restaurant or they're lying - either way, we've double paid. I also paid with an Amex and was only told after the payment went through that they don't take Amex. This would've been no problem except that the owner wanted me to charge back the amount through my credit card company (???) and double pay! Insane. Shame because the food is actually very tasty, but the payment experience left a horrible taste. Would highly advise against going here because Er Mei is blatantly scamming customers.
