I would have given 0 stars if given the option, but the lowest I can give is 1. The horses actually look nice and taken care of, they are nicely groomed and the tack is alright. The arena is smaller than my previous schools one and they even spilt it in half so that two riders can ride at the same time, making it even smaller! The horse I had didn't even trot and for the half hour private lesson, I was mostly only walking around in circles around the half of the arena that I was given. This disappointed me because I have 2 years of experience and it felt like I was re-starting. The horse was also pretty stubborn (not his fault) but I wasn't provided a whip to keep him going. The arena is also pretty close to the road where cars drive fast. I nearly fell when the horse got scared so that's a safety hazard. The "trainer" that I had kept on looking at her phone to see when my half of hour would end and they brought the next rider before I even finished. Overall, I think that the £30 that I had to pay was too expensive for the poor experience. Keeping in mind, this was supposed to be an assessment lesson but it wasn't anything close to it. I must also add that my lesson was delayed for 10 minutes without any apology! Definitely won't be returning back and I am extremely disappointed. I also recommend that other people who want to improve don't come here as the progress would definitely be slow.

What a sorry excuse for a petting zoo. Walked round took 10 mins and we just felt sorry for the animals. I’m sure it’s impressive to see the animals if you know nothing about them, from a professional point of view these animals are not thriving and I felt uncomfortable that I’d paid(overpaid) to fund it and just wanted to leave. Owner seems a bit off I couldn’t put my finger on it. Won’t be returning there are far more ethical places out there to teach kids about the correct way to treat animals as this definitely isn’t it.

Not a very pleasant experience from a parents perspective. My daughter spent 6 hours on a Saturday from 0800 till 1400 on site working for free, she was feeding and mucking out the animals during this time. NOT EVEN A THANKYOU BUT NO THANKYOU! In my eyes this us about as low as you can go!! I drove my daughter there for 0800 prompt. The gates were shut so I asked my daughter to ring the lady who had offered her this opportunity, NO ANSWER!! 5 minutes later a young lady turned up and opened the gates. In this day and age I thought people would make the effort to at least acknowledge someone's time but alas I am wrong in this case!! Be aware of the this place as there are many more out there in the Doncaster area that have manners and morals.
