I recently used EQ acoustics after finding a clearance advertised on the eBay page. I spoke to Steve and sent some photos of the room I’m treating and he talked me through the options and gave some suggestions. After agreeing a time I went down to visit in Stockbridge and talked over the room again and picked out some panels for it. Despite being production samples/off cuts, the panels are excellent quality and have made my echoey office far nicer for working at home! I’d definitely use EQ acoustics again, great products and always nice (if not rare) to support a UK business manufacturing in the UK.

EQ Acoustics is stunning in everyway - including its products and service, nothing is too much. Dealing with Will, from my initial inquiry to the final fit-out, was a pleasure. Using its 60cm ColourPanel tiles, I chose its white and purple colour options and mixed and matched to my own design. I transformed a 10ft x 8ft spare bedroom into a professional radio broadcast and voiceover studio - with amazing results and sound-deadening that far out-performed my expectations and those of professional radio studios I have worked in for 25+ years. Not only that, the ColourPanels performed so highly (I treated the ceilings and walls), they match the same acoustic performance and sound of my other broadcast and voice studio, (which was professionally built, with studded walls, Rockwool sound slabs wrapped in Camira Lucia acoustic fabric). It means I can work between two studios and two locations with clients not noticing a difference in sound or quality. And when it comes to providing 'pick ups' to voiceover scripts, I can use either studio and not the one the original it was recorded in - as the sound match is 100% - an added bonus! Really lovely acoustic panels and one of the few (only?) companies in the UK manufacturing them from polyester as opposed to glasswool. As someone who was concerned about possible allergic properties of glasswool in a living space I'm really glad EQ Acoustics have established quality friendly fibre alternatives. Excellent customer service and was kept in the loop at all times. Will definitely be placing more orders in the future!
