My children have always loved school - ok things cant be perfect all the time but all staff I have met have been kind and caring and hard working. Both of my children have done fantastically well academically and socially. People write on these sites when they want to complain but I wanted to say what a lovely community I have found EPS to be.

Probably the worst primary school in Essex! The staff are overprotective, the food is horiffic I was given a tainted burger with watery milk ,There is no way you can get a meal without there being strands of hair, they don't do anything about racism & the teachers clearly don't know what fun is, and what is probably the worst thing about the school is the head and deputy head. There only way of discipling you is by threatening to kick you out the school and they make innocent students lie about stuff that they had never done and then when you try to defend yourself, they just make you look stupid.Like stew lord said, if this is the only school in the area, then just leave the area.Do not ever take your kid to this school ever.

I have never known such an incompetently run primary school. My grandson at the age of 6 was allowed to walk out of the school up through an alley way and across a large main road in Epping High Street and nobody from the school knew. Since then they have bullied my daughter making her very stressed. They need a shake up as they clearly can't 'manage if they are asking for outside help for the smallest of things. Apparently I was rude to the head teacher Mrs. O'Donnell which is very strange as she didn't have the decency to even speak to me. When my grandson was left at the school (he was supposed to be under school supervision) Mrs O Donnell didn't have the TIME to speak with my daughter then also! I wonder if she'd have the time to speak to the local papers about the situation?
