Not sure where my hundreds of pounds a month is going to but it sure isn’t into maintaining the local area: roads full of pot holes and littered with bin bags due to missed bin collections, not to forget that when it snowed the pavements were literal ice rinks for weeks, the condition of pavements is shocking as well and you have to keep your head down when walking as to not trip on some missing piece of tarmac. This organisation need’s massive improvement as currently not fit for purpose.

Bins collections missed, our bin storage is starting to smell although I have reported missed bin collections several times and complained nothing has been done about collecting the overflowing bins. Exactly what am I paying for?

Constantly missed bin collections. Council tax extremely high for the service provided all around. Staff not very friendly and often very disrespectful. One of the worse local authorities that I have lived in.

After distressing fly tipping episodes by our house, we contacted Epping Forest council for help, and left a message, not really expecting anything to come of it, as we had tried before. We were pleasantly surprised when only a couple of hours later Environmental Enforcement Officer Dariush Asrar appeared on the scene. He was quick to provide solutions, target the perpetrator and genuinely assist us. Fast acting, solutions based and someone who takes his responsibilities seriously, we are truly grateful to him. The fly tipper has now removed all his rubbish and if he had not Dariush would have taken him in to proceed with further action. Dariush is a real credit to Epping Forest Council. We even saw that a week later he had successfully cleared up our street of another issue that was compromising the safety of the school children. A+++ to Darius and Epping Council for employing him!! Has taken a huge stress off for us and we feel heard and valued by our council. THANK YOU!

My black bins were not collected for an unknown reason and the next collection is in two weeks. Neighbouring councils have a weekly black bin collection, Epping bin collection periods are ridiculously long.

Every question, query and , concern throughout 2021 was dealt with quickly and thoroughly. Both customer facing and back office staff were wonderful for me. Its a shame their commercial owned company Qualis don't perform anywhere near to the same level . Like chalk and cheese
