Could not have been more helpful and considerate. Jonathan was especially patient in explaining the car and giving us help with driving in England. The car was equipped with navigation and super comfortable. We would absolutely rent from this agency again. Easy location just past the National Railway Museum.

I waited 6 days for a car, lost work because of that. When car was ready I went to pick it up, but then waited a further 3 hours for the car to turn up. At the time I wasn’t too bothered as I thought it was three young lads trying their best. Especially after seeing the manager leave his office, talk to his staff about me without acknowledging me despite being a meter away, and then leave without even addressing the fact I’d been there 3 hours. Apparently they were trying to pick up the car for me and it was excuse after excuse, apology after apology, from the three lads behind the desk. I realise now, that that was all lip service and probably lies. Because after them demanding, rudely that I return the car days before the time is up. I actually go out of my way to get a new car on the Friday morning so I can return it the morning they wanted, despite it being days before due. When told the car is available for pick up, they told us to take the car to them. We couldn’t and told them to pick up the car, and then they told us it wouldn’t be today. But someone will. Nothing. I call today (Monday) asking when they will be picking up the car, and then they suddenly tell me they don’t do that. I ask how come come I was waiting for them to pick up a car if they don’t pick up cars. They then tell me it’s policy not to pick up cars when it’s through the insurance. They are refusing to pick up thier own car! I have called my insurance and they know nothing about that policy, I have gotten I touch with Enterprises customer service and head office, and again they have mentioned nothing about this policy. So it’s Monday, I’ve still got the car upsetting g all the neighbours. They are still refusing to pick up the car. Not to mention when I received the car it stank and it was dirty. I had to use Enterprise because it was allocated for me, but if given the choice I would avoid this company. Terrible....absolutely terrible

My first time using Enterprise and it was a fantastic experience overall. The initial service from Holly was nothing short of outstanding considering she doesn’t usually work at the York branch. The van was clean and ran superbly. On drop the lad who dealt with us was so polite and despite it being near closing time was in no rush to get us checked out. I will definitely be using again.

Great car rental place in York, which is also pretty good value. My man Jack working here was very helpful to me and my wife renting a car for a day, even offering to drive us to the station at the end of our rental. Only thing I would change is that enterprise generally (not just this branch) seem to ask far more questions and require a lot more time from you at check in that other companies - which can be annoying when you just want to get the car and go.
