    I think the summary can only be described as significantly disappointing, and to avoid this Enterprise franchise. The rental car was organised by a third party insurer and challenges occurred from the start of engagement. The paperwork I need to provide was not explained delaying the process. The car allocated smelt of smoke, and was not a true reflection of what I had been offered by the underwriter. When discussing this within the Enterprise office it can only be described as being shouted at by the obtuse manager from the back of the office. It was explained directly the branch had a hire car supply demand/mismatch, and I should be grateful for the car I was given and I had to go back to the underwriter. On discussing this with the underwriter a new car was found disproving the above. Conversely the opening hours of this franchise, and their drop off distances were prohibitive to enable an exchange to occur. Additionally there is not a key drop box as you would see at other franchises such as the airport. After dropping the car off I received a call asking if everything was OK and seemingly encouraged to undertake a good review. I explained it wasn't and there a limited apology. I must however compliment Freya who was excellent in her communication, genuine and realised the importance of customer service. One could only hope her senior colleagues within the office could learn from her approach.

    Had my car written off and phoned insurance just before 5 and told a hire car could be a few days, got a call from enterprise insurance 30 mins later, sorted my local branch/details ect and then had my local branch ring me outside of their office hours and I was picked up the next day and into a golf, car was really good apart from a fault with the electric handbrake a few days after pickup , called enterprise and dropped the car back in on my way home from work, swapped me another car straight away. Called them a few days before drop off to organise a lift back home after dropping the car off which was all smooth and efficient. When I need to personally hire a car I will be be using enterprise. Customer service was brilliant 👌
