Had problems with the first hire vehicle which was no fault of Enterprise, I had to take an unpaid day off work to take the car to kwikfit to be fixed, to find out they had given me an unsafe car in the first place and all the tyres were almost bald, I should have checked in the first place but trusted that Enterprise would have given me a safe car, they apologised and I was given a different car which was great, they also offered me a gesture of goodwill of £100 to cover my loss of earnings from the day off I was forced to take, this has never been received and the manager Sherri has continuously ignored my numerous calls, so has his manager Aaron, this was promised 3 months ago and still no response or sight of the refund.

Update: 18/04/23 The Team at the Halifax branch is just awesome. That is the reason why I keep going back. I have used car rental companies allot, including other brances of Enterprise, but the Halifax Team is just out of this world. You should really reconise them for all their hard work and dedication! The manager was super helpful and clearly care for the work they do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WOW! Never have I ever had such an amazing car hire experience! I have rented cars allot in my lifetime, but I can honestly say this was the ONLY time I have walked in and out in under 5 minutes. I had to slap myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming! Excellent customer service and the process is flawless! Just want to say a big thank you and well done to the team, you have got it perfectly right! Enterprise should give you an award.

Had a great experience with the Halifax branch directly when I had a confirmation call after booking, young man who called was great However rang up today trying to speak to branch and was put through to customer service and it was like dealing with a completely different company. No sort of 'customer service' whatsoever. I had a number of questions in relation to the van I've hired for next week which I was treat with up most disrespect and then when I asked if it would be possible to extend a booking the gentleman sighed and said no because you've pre paid. He recommended I cancel the booking, surely this can't be a helpful business practice, I was wanting to give enterprise more money. I've since seen if another two companies have available for the week I want it and am tempted to cancel and wait for the refund. National Shire Link in Huddersfield have been helpful so far. I'll try and speak to Halifax tomorrow and see what I can do. I know large corporates like Enterprise don't need my money but still thought the customer service would be more helpful.

Staff were warm, friendly, professional, attentive & everything was smooth & efficient. My hire car was in excellent condition & a treat to drive. The icing on the cake was unexpectedly taking me to to get my repaired car back. I will definitely recommend you (have already 😉) & use again. A very positive experience!

Thank you to the multiple members of staff who dealt with me across the last 9 months while my car was being repaired. More so to the staff who I spoke with over the last few days who were patient, understanding and extremely helpful in the wake of being misinformed by my insurance company. Last month, they also asked me to exchange hire cars - which I did but gave them a very small window of time that I could do so. They were completely on the ball and I didn’t have to wait around for the next vehicle. Thank you so much to you all - I would definitely consider Enterprise Halifax for car hire under my own personal circumstances if ever required.
